Isaiah 40: 25-31, Ps. 103, Matthew 17: 28-30

Mother of the eagle

The one you carry, carries me.
As on eagle’s wings he bears me
over the burdens of the day.
What appears as mountains shrink
to mole-mound height.
I know he reads my heart
I am precious in his sight.
With your growing son,
I will run with greater strength;
help me hold his hand
and keep his pace.
