Children of God

Today, the Church invites us to rejoice in all the saints, the holy women and men of every place and time, officially canonised or known only to God. This day also challenges us to aspire to share their joy. The lavish love of God has been poured out on us already, enabling us to be called God’s children. In any human family, each child is different and irreplaceable. Today, may we each seek clearer awareness of the particular path to holiness that God has prepared for us, and ask for the strength to walk faithfully in it.
