Attentive love

This is the most beautiful love story in the Gospel. If it does not enkindle the flame of God’s love in my heart each time I hear it there must be some hard shell around my heart which is blocking out God’s love for me. Mary is all love, all beauty. Hard shells might shield me from the harshness of the world but they are unpleasing to God.
