Nag away

When it comes to asking God for things it can seem sometimes that God is in his heaven with the door bolted. It is especially like this when I am trying to get close to God in prayer and I do not feel that our friendship is developing successfully. I seem to be doing all the work and God is not rewarding me with feelings of closeness. Feeding physical hunger can become an urgent and persistent matter. Asking for love which feeds our souls should also have an urgency. So nag away at God and be prepared to change.
