The saintly way

Jesus is on his way to Jerusalem. I am on my way to heaven trying to be good and useful to God and my community. My enthusiasm for missionary success must be tempered by an enduring love for God. This love writes my name in heaven. Pondering this fact opens up my heart to a deeper response to God’s love which requires only that I love him and discover his will for me. This saintly love in the midst of my ordinary life makes my service more fruitful and my life more tuned to God’s particular tasks for me.
