Goodies and Baddies

Most great stories have their “goodies” and “baddies”. In the Gospel Herod was undoubtedly one of the latter! But there are no “bad” people, because we are all made in God’s “image and likeness”. Nor is the world a bad place - “God so loved the world ...”. Perhaps Herod had a moment of grace when he said he was “anxious to see Jesus”? Let us not judge others, however “good” or “bad” we perceive them to be. Let’s not judge ourselves either. Let’s just focus on loving, and let God do the judging.
