Our Active God

It’s good to be reminded that God doesn’t just sit up there in Heaven being worshipped by the angels and the saints. God is always active. In today’s parable God’s continuing activity is likened to that of a farmer sowing seeds. It is a divine seed, guaranteed to grow to fullness, so long as we don’t reject it or obstruct its growth. The Lord does the planting and the growing. All we have to do is provide the good soil. What seeds did God plant in your soil today?
