The mystery of love

Love has many faces. The English language has only one word to describe the many faces of love. The kind of love that we reflect on in today’s readings is Covenant Love – the love that God has for all of us. Covenant Love is also the kind of love that a man and woman are called to have for each other in marriage. Covenant love is mutual and invites us to love and be loved. Covenant love endures and includes forgiveness. Love is never easy. However God is love and is an intrinsic and vital part of Covenant Love. God makes love possible.

What can I do to uphold the institution of marriage and to support married people who are a part of my life?
