Be clothed in love

Today we celebrate the feast day of Mary MacKillop our newest saint who has been described as "an ordinary woman who lived an extraordinary life". Her canonisation in October 2010 was called “a Blessing on both sides” of the Tasman (New Zealand Herald 16.10.2010). We are all called to be saints; to lives of holiness. Saint Paul exhorts us to be clothed in compassion, to bear with one another, to forgive each other and over all this to put on the cloak of love, the perfect bond.

How am I clothed today?
