Metanoia

‘I’m sorry.’ ‘Please forgive me.’ Thank God we have a God who is merciful and willing to forgive us our trespasses – the times when we fail to act in love towards God, ourselves and others. God’s forgiveness requires from us a change of heart and a real resolve to turn again towards God. We are asked where necessary to seek forgiveness from one another. We act with the heart of God when we find it in ourselves to forgive those who have failed to act in love toward us. Healing happens only when we allow the process of becoming reconciled to happen. From whom do I need to seek forgiveness today?
