The true kinsfolk of Jesus

This apparent rejection of Mary and the family of Jesus is mentioned in all three synoptic gospels so it must have made a deep impression on the listeners. Stretching out his hand like Moses, he claimed his true family as those who do the will of his Father in heaven, thereby pointing out the true greatness of Mary his mother. I ponder the will of God for me now.
