True friendship

The paralytic in today’s gospel was healed not because of his own faith but because of the faith of his friends. It was his friends who brought him to Jesus. Sometimes I feel powerless, with no way to help someone in trouble, I forget that the greatest gift is mine to give; I can bring someone to Jesus. It may be in prayer, it may be by bringing them to church with me, or simply by loving and caring for them. This is true friendship.
