‘I have run the race’

In today’s first reading St. Paul says farewell to his people in Ephesus and reflects on his future and his past. The only thing that matters, he says, is that he has carried out his mission, done the work God intended him to do. Can I say the same? Can you? Let us pray today for God’s grace and the strength to persevere and to finish our tasks.
