‘Called Christians.’ To be a Christian ultimately means letting Christ be the over-riding, dominant influence on us in every respect. But a whole host of other ‘voices’ also compete to influence us: personal preferences, social trends, others opinions. We need to recognize the mix of emotions and motives working on any one of us.
