Sunday 15 May

4th Sunday of Easter

Acts 2:14, 36-41; Ps 23; 1Peter 2:20-25; John 10:1-10

Take time to take in at all that the Shepherd-Host does for us in the much beloved Psalm 22/23: “Nothing shall I want;” “He revives my drooping spirit… guides me along the right path.” He guards me so “no evil would I fear.” He has “prepared a banquet for me.” Now look to see all that God asks of us – nothing! However, the Gospel makes two requests: Let him enter, not the thief and then hear his voice. With God, we gain so much for so very little!
