Acts 9:1-20; Ps 117; John 6:52-59

As with Mary at the Annunciation and Jesus in Gethsemane, the obedience of Ananias is that of a thoroughly human person in attentive, respectful dialogue with God. We do well to reflect on these three examples. Christian obedience is far from being a one- sided display of earthly domination and belittling control.
