Acts 7:51-8:1; Ps 31; John 6:30-35

Our Founder, Fr Jean Claude Colin, wanted Marists to constantly call on Mary for help. For him, because we bear her name, she has a vested interest in our work. Similarly, our psalm says, “For your name’s sake, lead me and guide me.” Mary’s work is to bring Christ to birth. By asking Mary to help us achieve this, Marists are also reminded not to let anything of them and in them to get in the way!
