Acts 5:34-42; Ps 27; John 6:1-15

Our psalmist today expresses the desire “to savour the sweetness of the Lord.” Where would such a desire come from? It might well have been triggered by things happening in the psalmist’s life, but on the other hand, isn’t such a desire also a manifestation of our spiritual core, our soul? God sows such deep desires in us, because God wants to provide for us in ways humanly unachievable!
