Peace be with you

A teenage girl sat in her room, alone, fed up with life. There seemed few options left. Suddenly, through a window, came rays of light, which embraced her and filled her with peace. This peace was within and without, all around. She knew she was not alone. She knew she was loved. Over the years, when struggles were great, she closed her eyes and centred herself within the peace again.

The peace that Jesus gave to the disciples must have been that same peace, removing fear, instilling hope. I am sure this peace sustained them throughout their ministry. May it sustain you.
