Exodus 12:1-8,11-14, Ps 116B,
1 Corinthians 11:23-26, John 13:1-15

He washed their feet

It was twilight. I sat beside my dying mother’s bed. A nurse came in with a bowl and towel. For the next half an hour, she tenderly, lovingly, washed my mother’s feet. Jesus came into the hospital room that night.

Holy ground.
Close your eyes.
Pay attention to your breath.
Recall the last time Jesus ministered to you.
Holy ground.
