They plotted and schemed

Rabindranath Tagore writes,
“I see secretive hatred murdering the helpless under cover of night
And justice weeping silently and furtively at power misused. No hope of redress.”

How do I react in the face of neglect, manipulation, abuse of power, propaganda?

Do I say, “I am only one.”; “I have responsibilities, I cannot get involved.”

“I do not know all the facts”?

Sometimes people act cruelly, are neglectful, behave irresponsibly. We must speak up. We must protect the vulnerable. We must be conduits of God’s love.
