Trust in the Lord
We live in a sceptical world. Very little is taken at face value. We doubt people’s motives, looking for the cost, the payback, the consequences. We are afraid we will lose something: money, friends, position.
Here is a man with nothing to lose. He doesn’t question Jesus’ motives or ask for his credentials. He answers Jesus’ questions honestly. He does as Jesus commands. And he is healed.
It is others who sow the seeds of doubt; who skew the man’s experience of love, who imply Jesus is not all he should be. Let us trust in God and in others.
