Isaiah 55: 10-11; Psalm 34;
Matthew 6: 7-15.

Forgive others their failings.

The mercy, the forgiveness that Jesus gave, is all over the Gospel. I remember his story about the Prodigal son, about the paralysed man who had his sins forgiven before he was miraculously healed, about the adulterous woman who washed the feet of Jesus with her tears. She was forgiven much because of her great love for Jesus. I am called to forgive with that same spirit...no limits, even “seventy seven times” (Matthew 18:22).

Let the Holy Spirit help me uproot any anger, resentment in my heart. God is already working in me when I say: “I want to forgive this person.”
