Our love for the needy neighbour.

At the Last Judgement Jesus will come in divine majesty, take his seat on his throne of glory, and exercise his authority over every person born into our world as to the goodness or otherwise of their lives. How aware am I of the vulnerable in my community? Jesus blesses me when I give practical help to those who are suffering in some way: affirm the unwanted, lift up the failed, accompany the excluded, be with the sick, support the broken-hearted. And Jesus identifies himself with them. “You did it to me.”
