Fr. Setefano Mataele SM, Provincial of Oceania, has been appointed to the role of General Councillor and will be based in Rome from early 2023.

On Saturday, 15 October, at Casa di Maria, the Superior General received the Perpetual Vows from Christian (Célestin) Ngoura SM. Christian completed his Baccalaureate in Theology at the Gregorian University in June. He is currently studying at the Salesian University focusing on the Formation of Vocational Formators and Animators. At the end of this academic year he is due to return to his home unit, the District of Africa.
