Service

“Anyone who wants to be first among you must be slave to all. For the Son of Man himself did not come to be served but to serve” (Mark 10:44-45). Parents serve, teachers serve, parking wardens, cooks, and fruit pickers serve, posties and coffee baristas serve – just to mention a few. Express gratitude in your heart for 10 of the folk who will in various ways serve you today. Missionaries serve too, as did Augustine and his group of forty to Kent in 597.

Our Lady of Walsingham, plead for us.
