Ask and you shall receive

Jesus cures the woman suffering from hemorrhages. Then he raises from the dead the daughter of a synagogue leader. Why? Was it because they trusted in him? Often one prays for relief from an affliction or burden, I have, then I wonder why there is no obvious response. Possibly my faith is not strong enough, my trust insufficient or my objective inappropriate. Maybe the benefits appear in ways that I am not aware of. I just keep on asking - do you?

  1. Good morning,

I've been wondering if a direct link could be made from the listed readings of the day to a gospel.

Presently I note the readings down, close MM and open Biblegateway.com to do the readings. I rarely then get back to MM tp read more of it. What do other people do?

Believing that something can be done, Kath .
